Equivalent Dose of Atmospheric Plasma Jet on Inducing Cell Proliferation in Human Fibroblast Cell
Atmospheric plasma jet is produced with ambient air at low frequency below 29 kHz. It is observed that the length of the plasma plume increased with higher applied voltage. The efficacy of the plasma plume to induce wound healing is evaluated with MTT assay. Proliferation of cells after plasma treatment is measured from the viability of cells after incubation time of 24, 48, 72 hours. It is found that the efficacy changes linearly with treatment time, but varied slightly with treatment distant. An equivalent plasma dosage correspond to causing cell proliferation is established by multiple linear regression analysis.
