Nonlinear self‐reinforced growth of tearing modes with multiple rational surfaces
The nonlinear evolution of tearing modes with multiple rational surfaces is discussed. It is demonstrated that, in the presence of small differential rotation, the nonlinear growth might be faster than exponential.
