Variable step-size (VSS) least mean square (VSSLMS), VSS normalized LMS (VSSNLS) and VSS affine projection algorithms (VSSAPA) are particular examples of adaptive algorithms covered by this generic adaptive filter. In this paper we introduce the new VSS subband adaptive filter referred to as the VSS Pradhan-Reddy subband adaptive filter (VSSPRSAF) algorithm.
