Indeed, most signal processing aspects of radar analysis were concerned with real-time detection, filtering, clutter rejection, tracking and targeting. This paper outlines the application of radar in a networked environment, which becomes much more than a real-time feed-forward system. It incorporates many and varied aspects of signal and information processing, from tracking and fusion, through to statistical analysis and data mining.
