At the moment, technological software that performs the functions of informing dispatch personnel in real time based on PMU data has been implemented in control rooms. The functioning of data collection systems depends on the quality of the incoming data. Decreased data quality can lead to software failure and issuance of outdated or false information to dispatch personnel. «System Operator of the United Power System» (SO UPS) put into operation the technological software of PMU data quality monitoring.The article explores the issues of data quality deterioration, as well as the problems that affect their occurrence. This article gives an analysis of the international experience of organization of data quality monitoring and formation of methodology and approaches to the analysis and description of parameters characterizing data quality. It is spoken in detail the software operating in SO UPS, designed for continuous monitoring of the quality of PMU data and allowing offline analysis of quality indicators and the dynamics of their change.
