The youth\nare targeted to spread the message of the campaign. They will\ncarry it forward to all the citizens of the country. Both rural and\nurban youth are aware of the national cleanliness drive namely,\nSwacch Bharat Abhiyaan. Especially school and college students\nare made to participate in the drive through various activities to\nkeep the localities around them clean and green. Urgent need\nwas felt to make the youth of the nation more aware about the\ncampaign as youths can bring revolutionary changes in the\ncountry.\nThe objectives of the study are to find out the awareness of\nSwacch Bharat Abhiyaan amongst youth, know media that are\nbeing utilized by the youth and to get the views of the youth to\nmake the Abhiyaan successful.\nThe study was done to find out the awareness about Swacch\nBharat Abhiyaan and to know the media effect on youth. The\nresearch also gives the view points of the youngsters for\nincreasing the effectiveness of Swacch Bharat Abhiyaan. It is\nfound from the study that the youths from the age group of 18 to\n25 years are aware of sanitation drive.\nThe authors made an attempt to identify certain effective ways to\npromote the national sanitation and cleanliness drive of the\nGovernment of India. In the process of collecting key findings,\nthe study goes on to explore the preferred media for the publicity\nof the Abhiyaan. A Study of the Effectiveness of Media in Creating Awareness of Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan Amongst the Youth
