E-nose system using artificial neural networks (ANN) to detect pollutant gases
Electronic nose (e-nose) is an intelligent electronic system developed for the estimation of percentages of pollutant gases present in the air. This paper considers a novel approach to detect the amount of methanol, NC thinner and LPG in air. Initially, the readings from all three sensors are taken at different distances. The artificial neural network (ANN) is trained with sensors input and system is tested with real time input of the sensors data. The proposed system achieves the promising results.
