The result is that the new inner locating method makes good use of the advantages of wavelet analysis, not only simplify the locating algorithm but improve the speed of locating. The new outer locating algorithm decreases the search range effectively and improves the search precision. 摘要

虹膜识别是身份识别的有效方法之一。虹膜定位是虹膜识别过程中的关键问题。分析了Hough虹膜定位算法的局限性,提出了基于小波分析的最小方差法定位虹膜内边界,并采用改进的亮度梯度法定位虹膜外边界。结果表明,新的内部定位方法充分利用了小波分析的优点,不仅简化了定位算法,而且提高了定位速度。新的外定位算法有效地缩小了搜索范围,提高了搜索精度。在普通虹膜图像上的虹膜定位实验表明,基于小波分析的最小方差方法也取得了良好的效果
