The characteristicsevaluatedwere: fruitlength, fruitdiameter, branchlength, stemdiameter, numberofleaves per plant, yield, freshfruitmass, numberofcommercialfruits per plant, titratableacidityandhydrogenpotential. Nitrogenfertilization rates affectedalmostalltraitsevaluatedmainlyonyieldandfruitlengthcharacteristics.
