The regulation of nuclear AMP-aminohydrolase activity differs from that of mitochondrial and soluble fractions. 1. Hexokinase does not enhance deamination of AMP in intact nuclei while it activates the enzyme in extracts of acetone powder of nuclear fractions. 2.
