To guarantee a stable operation of the distribution system, the important impacts of the REGs on the safety operation of the distribution system are analyzed in six aspects, including the power transmission, the power quality, the frequency stability, the islanding effects, the protection,and the planning. To cope with these impacts, the corresponding suggestions, such as the formulation of a comprehensive safety and stabilization guide, the optimization of the network structure, and the improvement of the REGs' stability and controllability, are proposed.Particularly, the coordinated planning method for the distribution network is discussed in detail.
