With the expansion of related research, it was found that in addition to respiratory symptoms, digestive involvements and liver injury were reported among COVID-19 patients. Abnormal liver function was observed in cases of COVID-19, manifesting mainly as isolated elevated serum transaminase and lactate dehydrogenase levels.
