Existing systems claim to have partially discovered ways to overcome this challenge. However, they are neither fully complete nor robust enough to be commercialised. The current systems installed can sometimes mislead the drivers by not providing fixed locations to the users. Furthermore, the installation costs for such systems are quite high, and they require expensive maintenance due to corrosion, dust, and other environmental factors. This paper presents an intelligent parking solution that allows users to reserve car parks and guides them to the free car park at the same time. The solution presented not only helps in substantially reducing the traffic in search of a parking space but also increases the occupancy by making the management of parking space, a precious resource in metro cities, easy.
