A Tentative Exploration for the Design of Intelligent Household Furniture

Nowadays, the intelligent technology is widely developed. As a major category of industrial design products, the design and manufacture of furniture has gradually innovated from the traditional type to the direction of intelligence. Based on researching the existing intelligent products, the paper briefly introduced and classified the concept to the intelligent furniture and its industry status. This paper mainly summarizes the composition, technical support, design principles and the development of intelligent furniture. Through this study, the author can provide new design ideas for the designers of intelligent furniture.
