We found that polycrystalline CuRh<sub>1-x</sub>Mg<sub>x</sub>O<sub>2</sub> shows a large thermoelectric power S ~ +270 muV/K despite its low resistivity ~6 mOmegacm at high temperatures around 1000 K.
