It will open new opportunities in (exo)planetary science, extragalactic astronomy, stellar astrophysics and cosmology. The observatory is based on a complex of scientific instruments including the T-170M telescope (aperture 170 cm), spectrographs and imagers. The payload should be ready in 2025.
