This paper describes a food supply chain tracing system powered by a smart tag hardware and blockchain technology. To continually monitor environmental temperature and keep the data trustable, a miniature electronic tag with features of security is designed in the system. This temperature sensor tag supports digital signatures and verification to make sure the temperature data collected are authorized and tamper proof.
