One coupling relationship is the extra death due to environment pollution besides natural death, and the other coupling relationship is the dependence of self-purification capacity on the quantity of natural resource. Simulation and mathematical analysis of the coupled model show that the type of bifurcation structure should be swallowtail catastrophe.
