A study of deep learning technique for Indian cultural event Recognition

The Cultural events play a key role in displaying the ethnic and cultural values and traditions. The fact that there are many cultural events which are celebrated differently due to diverse Indian culture has made it a promising area for research. For any given image of Indian cultural event, the main objective of the paper is to propose a framework which is capable of identifying the Indian cultural event. All the major Indian cultural events have been taken into consideration. The proposed framework relies on Deep Convolutional Neural Networks (DCNN) for recognizing the cultural events, and our approach shows significant results.
