It is based on the phase-amplitude method of polarization measurement and is developed on the analogy between the polarization and reflection measurements. Procedures for computer controlled automatic calibration, measurement and error correction are analysed and discussed. Using standard hardware for vector measurements one can employ the proven technique for error correction originally developed for reflection measurements.
