Most texts dedicated to unofficial anthroponyms suggest that descriptive nicknames do not reflect an expression, but a statement of a fact. However, the research material collected in the years 2004–2020 shows that a lot of personal sobriquets are expressive. It is because their spatial aspect is connected with a whole range of connotations that ascribe some stereotypical features to people heralding from a particular area, and such features are specified on the basis of the existing cultural contact.","PeriodicalId":162310,"journal":{"name":"Słowo.
