Combination of partial transmit sequences (PTS) and simplified clipping and filtering with bounded distortion (SCAFBD) is proposed. The first mentioned method is distortionless, but needs to transmit a side information in every OFDM symbol. The second method introduces signal distortion. The combination of methods results in better PAPR reduction and lower bit error rate (BER).
