The superiority of this framework lies in three folds: 1) it is robust to unbalancing illumination, geometric deformations and affine transform; 2) barcode region localization is performed to make the system robust to clutter background and to save computation complexity; 3) the floating DSP hardware platform guarantees the decoding accuracy and speed to attain a leading level.
