One of the elements of automation and telemechanic, jointless rail circuits with current pickup, was investigated and, based on the knowledge base function, was used to create expert systems. A mathematical model has been developed to determine one of the operating modes of a jointless rail circuit with current pickup. A simulation model has been developed, a methodology for applying artificial intelligence has been investigated in relation to the storage of knowledge, semantics, frames and formal logic.
