By analyzing the electrical route patrol work content and features, we establish a patrol route planning model based VRP, and use the improved ant colony algorithm to solve this problem. For traditional ant colony algorithm, improve the algorithms from the transition probability, using of joint control with two parameters, which improves the computational efficiency of ant colony algorithm, makes up the disadvantage that traditional ant colony algorithm's training efficiency is low and easy to produce local minimum because of the parameter settings inaccurate.
