The study had a quantitative, cross-sectional design with correlational scope. The intentional sample consisted of 554 women from the cities of Saltillo and Sonora, Mexico. The instruments used were the Life-Work Conciliation Scale and the Anxiety Scale; the variables were analyzed through multiple linear regressions. The results show seven predictors of anxiety for women with and without domestic help. The three main predictors are as follows: Rejection of job promotions, Utility and recognition, and Conflict with the couple.
