Performance of a novel Integrated coherent receiver module for 100G Ethernet applications and beyond
The performance of a novel coherent receiver module, comprising two optical 90°-hybrids monolithically integrated with waveguide pin-photodiodes, is presented. Excellent results for transmission of 160Gb/s dual-polarization QPSK signals over 610km standard single-mode fiber without optical dispersion compensation have been obtained.
