“MAR DE VAQUEIROS”: CONHECIMENTOS TRADICIONAIS DA PESCA DE CURRAL E OS DIREITOS TERRITORIAIS DOS PESCADORES ARTESANAIS DA PRAIA DE BITUPITÁ, CEARÁ
Interests this article analyze the tensions and dilemmas posed to traditional populations when inserted into execution contexts of development policies, especially public policies implemented tourism in the town of Bitupita, Barroquinha municipality of the district belonging to West Coast coastline Ceara. The Bitupita locality is inhabited by about four thousand families of traditional fishermen who do activities that require particular ways of relating to the natural environment, as the resting place for fishing. The said beach fishermen, which is considered one of the largest colonies of Ceara Fishermen are with their way of life put into play before the consolidation of economic activities that are installed in the region, such as the wind power industry and the industry of shrimp. We have used the legislation establishing the rights of traditional communities and peoples to make the analysis of ethnographic data collected from the town of Bitupita (2010-2015).
