摘要

本文提出了一种基于比特缩减和Burrows Wheeler变换的彩色图像压缩技术。该方法将基于小波变换的文本压缩方法的优点应用到图像压缩中。一种位编码方案,从源图像中选择像素值块并将这些像素值转换为等效的字母(A- z, A- z),从而获得仅由字母组成的新编码文本文件。现在可以将基于BWT的压缩方法应用于上述文本文件进行压缩。为了提高压缩率,本文还在编码阶段提出了一些不同的方法。实验结果表明,与其他技术相比,压缩比有了显著提高。
