This research is included in the type of descriptive research with a qualitative approach, with the research design used is a case study. The subjects of this study were 20 students of class VII SMP Negeri 5 Sendana and 4 students were selected using a purposive sampling technique. The results of the analysis show that students' difficulties in solving algebraic operational problems consist of 4 (four) difficulty criteria, namely; 1) Able to solve problems properly and correctly; 2) Be able to understand the problem and be able to identify information on the problem, be able to plan a solution to the problem but make a mistake in implementing the problem-solving plan and re-examine the answers that have been written; 3) Difficulty understanding the problem, difficulty planning problem solving, difficulty implementing problem solving plans and difficulty re-checking answers; 4) Able to understand the problem and identify the information contained in the problem, experience difficulties in problem-solving plans, difficulties in implementing problem-solving plans and re-checking answers. 摘要

本研究旨在探讨初中生在解题代数形式运算时的困难程度。本研究包含在定性方法的描述性研究类型中,使用的研究设计是案例研究。本研究的对象为20名SMP Negeri 5 Sendana七班学生,其中4名学生采用目的抽样方法。分析结果表明,学生解决代数运算问题的难度由4(4)个难度标准组成,即;1)能够正确、恰当地解决问题;2)能够理解问题,能够识别问题的信息,能够规划问题的解决方案,但在执行问题解决方案时出现错误,并重新检查已经写好的答案;3)理解问题困难,计划解决问题困难,实施解决问题方案困难,复核答案困难;4)能够理解问题,识别问题所包含的信息,体验解决方案的困难,解决方案实施的困难和复核答案。综上所述,本研究分析了七年级学生在解决代数运算数学问题材料方面的三个能力类别的困难,即;1)高能力类科目(ST);2)中等能力类被试(SS)和3)低能力类被试(SR)关键词:难度分析、问题解决、代数形式运算
