In this paper, we propose a novel scheme for secure cooperative communication by hybrid forwarding and opportunistic selection in IOT. A closed form expression for the tight approximation of the secrecy outage probability (SOP) is derived. An asymptotic intercept probability analysis is also conducted to evaluate the diversity order performance of proposed relay selection scheme. The derivations are confirmed through Monte Carlo simulations.
