Cooperative protocols are used to increase the total capacity, Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR) and reduced the Symbol Error Rate (SER) in wireless communication systems. The performance of Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) based Power Allocation (PA) for Proposed Hybrid Decode and Forward (DF)/Amplify and Forward (AF) Relaying Protocol using Maximal Ratio Combining (MRC) technique with Mary-Phase Shift Keying (M-PSK) Modulation over Rayleigh fading and Rician fading is presented in this paper. The results are compared with exiting AF and DF relaying protocols.
