Adopting this new networking architecture implies a change in the way today applications are developed. NDN brings a transition from a host centric communication to an information centric communication, where data are the masterpiece. As Internet of Things (IoT) is a source of tremendous quantity of data shared and processed on the network, a new approach is needed to enable a smooth and optimized data sharing among the IoT devices.
