Política pública de educación superior inclusiva como instrumento para incorporación de mujeres a carreras de ciencia y tecnología en Latinoamérica
The purpose of this study is to present the perspectives of public policies in Latin America as inclusive instruments for the incorporation of women into their educational system, with particular reference to academic programs related to science and technology. The research was carried out through a documentary design with a qualitative approach. In general, it was observed that the rate of the female student population in university programs related to engineering, computer science, and similar is much lower than that of men who are educated within the institutions that offer them. It was concluded that it depends on the joint effort of States and universities to achieve a reduction in the percentage gap existing in the Latin American community that is pursuing these higher studies. The revision of educational guidelines and also a set of services in their structures may serve to guarantee a dignified life for members of society.
