Culturally Responsive Education in Early Childhood
Culturally responsive education in early childhood is a comprehensive educational approach that respects children's backgrounds, culture, traditions, beliefs and values based on multicultural standards that are difficult to separate from the child's environment in the current era. Therefore, the role of social institutions is highlighted in helping the child to accept and respect others while preserving his cultural identity. Every social institution has a prominent role to contribute to the formation of concepts, values and beliefs among children, including the educational institution through the curriculum and the educational environment and the role of the teacher, as well as the role of the family and the role of the media, which are no less important and are complementary to the roles of educational institutions. This paper discusses the importance of culturally responsive education and its impact on children in their environments, and then develops solutions through the contribution of educational institutions, the family, and the media.
