High quality cutting and simple adjustment of cutting geometry are provided by laser cutting of leather. Diode lasers can process leather rapidly and efficiently. An endeavor to investigate the machining of buffalo leather using power diode laser cutting technique was suggested in the proposed approach. Laser cutting attempts were performed on buffalo leather samples with thickness of 2 mm. This work explores the much effective utilization of power diode laser cutting method of leather to distinguish its advantages and disadvantages.
