The regularization employs a weighted total variation (TV) that is included as a multiplicative constraint. In this way, the appropriate regularization parameter will be controlled by the optimization process itself. The new proposed method not only overcomes the disadvantage of generating artificial edges but also has the advantages of denoising and edges preservation of TV model.
