FORMATION OF NATIONAL CRIMINOLOGY (TO THE 100TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE INSTITUTE OF LEGISLATION AND COMPARATIVE LAW)

The purpose of the study: is to characterize the role of the Institute in the development of the national science of criminology, in laying the foundations for the organization and institutionalization of foren-sic research. Methods and objects of research: the methodological basis is presented by the dialectical method of scientific cognition. In the course of the research, private scientific methods of cognition and his-toricism were used. Thus, when presenting empirical material, formulating the results and conclu-sions of the study, methods of formal logic were used. Main results and conclusions based on the results of the study: based on the study of archival documents, many of which are being introduced into scientific circulation for the first time, the role of the Institute in the development of the national science of criminology, in laying the foundations for the organization and institutionalization of forensic research was characterized.
