Photon manipulation at the surface of three-dimensional photonic crystals
Photon manipulation at the `surface' of three-dimensional photonic crystals has been demonstrated. It is shown that photons can be confined and propagate through surface states, and strong 3D localization of photons (Q ges 9000) has been achieved.
