Neurosonogram is an ideal tool for the primary screening of the neonatal brain. It can demonstrate many unsuspected cranial abnormalities. It has to be emphasized about its use as a screening modality for preterm and birth asphyxia neonates influencing their neurodevelopmental outcome.
