摘要

图像数据压缩的变换方法作为一种有损技术,依赖于对冗余系数的抑制,冗余系数的分布取决于所使用的变换以及被处理图像的协方差结构。阈值采样方案选择高于预定义阈值的系数,分区采样方案选择预定义几何区域内的系数。本文提出了一种新的选择系数区域构造方案,在该方案中,使用数学公式选择高值系数。采用一组变换的实验结果与采用相同变换的另外两种采样方案的实验结果进行了比较。通过对比验证了该方法的有效性。

A novel sampling scheme for image compression
