The band-notched capability is attained by means of two circular Split Ring Resonators (SRRs) which printed near the feeding microstrip line. The simple Vivaldi antenna is capable to cover a narrow band at 3.2 GHz and a wide band 5.5- 12 GHz. In order to avoid the interferences with the WiMAX operating band, the narrow band will be notched using a band stop action which is attained by means of the SRRs. Moreover, the wanted rejected frequency is fixed by the total size of the SRRs.
