The overall dimensions of the design are 40 mm × 40 mm × 5.4 mm. The size of the main ground plane is 40 mm × 40 mm × 0.4 mm. These antennas are using the coupled-fed architecture. They are fed by 50-ohm mini coaxial cable lines. The four antennas are placed vertically to the edges of the main ground plane. The GPS and UMTS antennas are designed as open slot antennas; the two WLAN antennas are designed as monopole antennas. The obtained bandwidths can cover the bands of GPS/UMTS/WLAN MIMO; the isolation between these antennas is larger than 15dB.
