This review article provides a comprehensive overview of the current state of digital technologies in dentistry, highlighting their applications, benefits, and future prospects. Technologies allow for precise 3D imaging of dental structures, facilitating virtual treatment planning and guiding the placement of dental implants. Additionally, digital imaging techniques enable the creation of highly accurate digital impressions, eliminating the need for traditional impression materials and improving patient comfort. The review article concludes with a discussion on the challenges and future prospects of digital technologies in dentistry. While digital technologies offer numerous benefits, including improved accuracy, efficiency, and patient outcomes, there are considerations regarding cost, training, and data security that need to be addressed.
