Redundant solid state filters for track signal reception in mass transit systems
A new design for the reception of frequency-shift-keyed/phase-shift-keyed track signals uses solid state filters in a redundant fashion. This new design provides improved performance, increased reliability, reduced cost, and expanded flexibility without compromising safety. This design Incororates two new concepts: the "hunter filter" and "checked-redundancy."
