Antioxidants are compounds that can counteract free radicals. This study aims to determine the antioxidant activity by DPPH method and analyze the active compounds contained in romaine lettuce extract (Lactuca sativa var Longifolia) and lactuca sativa var Crishpa lettuce extract (Lactuca sativa var Crishpa). Romaine lettuce and and lactuca sativa var Crishpa was done extraction with a maceration method using 70% as ethanol solvent. The concentration of extract used was 12.5; 25; 50; 100; 200 and 400 ppm and vitamin C concentrations as comparison was 0.5; 1; 1.5; 2; 2,5 and 3 ppm tested its antioxidant activity by DPPH method by spectrophotometry visible, until IC50 value was obtained. The identification of the active compound was performed by phytochemical screening and Thin Layer Chromatography (TLC). The results showed that romaine lettuce has IC50 value of 151,1515 ppm and lactuca sativa var Crishpa has IC50 value of 183,7560 ppm and vitamin C value was 1,7005 ppm. 摘要
摘要自由基被怀疑是多种退行性疾病的诱因。抗氧化剂是可以抵消自由基的化合物。本研究旨在采用DPPH法测定长叶莴苣提取物(Lactuca sativa var longfolia)和长叶莴苣提取物(Lactuca sativa var Crishpa)的抗氧化活性,并对其活性成分进行分析。以70%乙醇为溶剂,采用浸渍法提取长叶莴苣和莴苣。提取液的浓度为12.5;25;50;100;200ppm和400ppm,维生素C浓度为0.5;1;1.5;2;2、5、3ppm用DPPH法测定其抗氧化活性,分光光度法可见,直至得到IC50值。通过植物化学筛选和薄层色谱(TLC)对活性化合物进行鉴定。结果表明,长叶莴苣的IC50值分别为151、1515 ppm,芥蓝的IC50值分别为183、7560 ppm,维生素C值分别为1 7005 ppm。长叶莴苣乙醇提取物和莴苣提取物中含有生物碱、酚类和黄酮类化合物。关键词:抗氧化剂,DPPH, IC50, TLC,长叶莴苣,芥蓝
