Methodological support of the discipline of sports tourism

The article analyzes the methodological support of the discipline of sports tourism. Weak methodological support was revealed, the lack of modern textbooks on sports tourism, which would cover each discipline of tourism in full, necessary for studying by specialists in the field of physical culture and sports.The purpose of the study: It is necessary to create and develop a new system of theoretical knowledge and concepts in the discipline of sports tourism for each group separately.Research methods and organization: a comparative analysis of the scientific and methodological literature on the organization of tourism classes with other sports was carried out. Methodological approaches in the preparation of athletes in the group of disciplines "walking distances" require a comprehensive acquaintance with the technique of the main disciplines of athletics, such as running and jumping, respectively, and the methodology for their training. In the group of disciplines "ski distances" the methodological approaches adopted in skiing are needed.
