A generic power converter modeling method to support computer-aided design and synthesis
A generic switching model is presented, that can be used for representing any type of power converter. The rules to build complex converters using simpler ones as building blocks are presented; DC-DC converters are used as examples. The use of this model as an analysis and synthesis tool is proposed.
