The marriage rates in the city varied in waves influenced by changes in the number of Tagil residents at a young marriageable age. There was a gradual shift in the registration of marriages to a more mature age. The wide spread of repeated and unregistered marriages in the city, as well as high divorce rates indicate a violation of the stability of marriage, which negatively affects the reproduction of the population.
