DMS, different from general tourism electronic commerce (the abbreviation is e-commerce) websites, is comprehensive application of regional tourism e-commerce. From technical level, it enhances informationization and standardization of tourism destination. From tourism industry service level, information flow improves service quality of tourism industry due to all kinds of tour enterprises' participation in DMS. From marketing level, overall marketing level is advanced because of real-time docking of network marketing and traditional marketing. This paper analyzes functional innovation of DMS from three aspects, namely basic function, extended function and advanced function in order to show its importance in tourism marketing. In the next few years, we should promote DMS's construction according to the general framework of the golden tourism project in China. We should take full advantage of the best opportunity that Chinese tourism industry catch up with international tourism industry. 摘要

随着信息技术和互联网的发展,传统旅游被信息化所推动,目的地营销系统(Destination Marketing System,简称DMS)应运而生。DMS不同于一般的旅游电子商务(简称电子商务)网站,是区域旅游电子商务的综合应用。从技术层面上,提高了旅游目的地的信息化和标准化程度。从旅游行业服务水平来看,由于各类旅游企业参与DMS,信息流提高了旅游行业的服务质量。从营销层面来看,由于网络营销与传统营销的实时对接,整体营销水平得到提升。本文从基本功能、扩展功能和高级功能三个方面分析了DMS的功能创新,以显示其在旅游营销中的重要性。今后几年,我们要按照中国黄金旅游工程的总体框架,推进DMS的建设。我们要充分利用中国旅游业与国际旅游业接轨的最佳时机。以信息化促进传统旅游发展。
